“Nature Based Solutions for a more resilient territory – How can Municipalities better implement them?” | March 30th, 2022 16:00 – 17:30 CEST
As part of the Nature of Cities Festival, a 3-day virtual event (29th – 31st of March 2022) that pushes the boundaries of radically imagining our cities for the future, the LIFE Beware project will join on the 30th of March by holding the workshop ““Nature Based Solutions for a more resilient territory – How can Municipalities better implement them?””.
What are Nature-Based Solutions and how can they be better implemented in the territory?
The LIFE BEWARE project (BEtter Water Management for Advancing Resilient Communities in Europe) promotes the adoption of these sustainable interventions, both in urban and rural areas, through a participatory approach.
The skill session’s main objective is to promote and encourage the replicability of Nature Based Solutions. The workshop is held by Technicians and Professors of the Department of Territory and Agro-Forestal Systems (TESAF) of the University of Padua and it is targeted to EU Municipalities. The goal of the workshop is to teach local administrators how to better implement these measures on their territories, starting from the experience and the best practices of the Life Beware Project.

The workshop will be participatory and will also show videos of the measures implemented.
We invite you also to have a look at the Video Training For Municipalities of the Life Beware Project .
This is not a necessary prerequisite to be part of the workshop (or to understand it), but if you watch it you can send us (email@example.com) your questions and the experts of the University of Padova will tailor their sessions on your needs.
Alongside a number of other skills and seed sessions, participants will also be able to experience micro-talks, virtual trips and documentaries.
